Growth Through Transformation

Growth Through Transformation® is an Allied Health Focused STEM and Workforce Development program developed by Girls Inc. of Southwestern CT‘s CEO and staff in collaboration with The Workplace Inc. The program is designed to encourage high school aged girls from 15 to 18 to explore more advanced learning and stipend based summer work-study. The program was developed as a maturation of our Operation SMART® (Science, Math, and Relevant Technology), which serves girls up to age 14. Growth Through Transformation promotes interest and exploration in a wide variety of health industry careers ranging from pharmaceuticals, nursing, general surgery, and even specialties like cardiology. The program presents girls with the knowledge and insight they need to pursue STEM based careers in the future.
